About This Project
Throughout American history, countless AAPI individuals and communities have contributed to our society and have played key roles in U.S. history, including the women on this website, yet almost none of these events and historical figures are reflected in school curriculums around the country.

My name is Claudine and as a half-Asian high school student in NYC, I have felt the lack of representation in lessons first hand. This is why I started this research project. I believe that it is incredibly important that we advocate for our visibility and representation in media, politics, and especially in our education. This project will serve as a resource for those who wish to learn what schools do not teach.
